I’ve been told I see things differently. Maybe I do. 

It seems to me the color of sunlight is warmer and more saturated in Tuscany. A winter dusting of snow creates an almost silver aura in the Slovakian landscape. Children at play make me smile for their guilelessness. A bride is most beautiful when she thinks no one is looking. And the human form is lovely to draw, no matter what size or shape that form takes. 

This is why I paint and draw. Because I see beauty and want to capture it as I see it. And when that works, my hope is this: others may experience it too.
